LOIS COSSAR

Lois Cossar has been living for the past 4 ½ years in the Trenton area where she was Director of Music at King St. United. She also teaches ‘non-traditional’ keyboard, piano and organ lessons to local students, both youth and adult and volunteered musically within the community at nursing homes, seminars and other groups.

Before moving to Trenton Lois lived for 29 years in northern BC and served as organist in a small Anglican parish. It was in Quesnel that she developed her ‘non-traditional’ teaching curriculum and trained in Yamaha popular organ.

She loves music VARIETY - and loves to interpret hymns with anything from upbeat calypso on keyboard to full pipe organ.

Lois has a grown daughter and 3 grandchildren aged 13, 10 and 8 living on Vancouver Island.
