Our Purpose

"Grace-St. Andrew's is a Christian congregation which gathers
to proclaim the resurrection power of the living Christ,
to celebrate the miracle of God's unconditional love,
to encourage one another as we grow in faith and
to reach out to the world in gratitude and gentle care so that
the light of Christ is made known through us."

A New Creed

We are not alone, we live in God's world.

We believe in God who has created and is creating,
who came in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new,who works in us and others by the Spirit.

We trust in God.

We are called to be the Church:
To celebrate God's presence,
To live with respect in Creation,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope.

In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us.

We are not alone.

Thanks be to God.

Our Core Values at GSA:

Faith Love Integrity Commitment Vision
Hope Humour Creativity Patience Compassion

GSA's Bedrock Beliefs:

God has a plan for us and everyone is here for a purpose.
God loves us unconditionally.  God is always with us.
We are not alone - we have God and our community of faith.
Everyone has worth and matters to God.
God speaks loudest in silence when we are willing to listen.
Prayer changes us and makes a difference.
God works through us.
A life of faith is joyful and worthwhile.
"For now there are faith, hope, and love".
(1 Corinthians 13:13)

Our Vision:

Through eddies and flows, rapids and falls,
coming together, and joining yet other waters,
with bouncing waves or still quietness,
"wherever they flow, they will bring life and freshness,
producing fruit, and leaves for healing."
(Ezekiel 47)
